“We met Dr. Malnati and his staff when our sweet girl, Greta, tore her ACL and flipped her meniscus while just hunting lizards in the backyard. Dr. Malnati said sometimes it happens that way and was probably more from wear and tear over time, as she is ten years old and a very active German Shorthaired Pointer.

“Needless to say, we were heartbroken this happened to her and had never really heard of such a thing. Our vet referred us to Dr. Malnati and assured us he was the best. Our first meeting with him was very reassuring, as he is Mr. Personality Plus, and explains everything that will happen in surgery and takes the time to answer any and all questions you have. He has a wonderful bedside manner, because Greta loved him. You definitely leave with the feeling that this is not his first rodeo and his knowledge and confidence give you hope for your dog.

“At this writing, our Greta is ten weeks post-surgery and looks good as new. The healing time passes fast and even the restriction of being leashed all the time when going out for potty isn’t even that bad.

“Dr. Malnati made himself available to us anytime via his cell phone if we had any questions regarding healing, etc. His staff is kind and caring and was very responsive if we had to call for any reason.

“We loved working with him and the staff but hope to not have to see them again anytime soon, if you know what I mean. :-)”
