Lily

“Like many of you reading this, we treat our pets like family. So, when our five-month-old puppy broke her leg, we were panicked when our regular veterinarian said they could not perform the operation. We were referred to Dr. Malnati. The appointment was made through the vet offices because Lily needed surgery the next day. Any reluctance my husband and I felt was gone from our first contact. We felt very comfortable and knew Lily would be taken care of.

“The next morning, we met Dr. Malnati and his assistants. Everyone was so warm and loving to our puppy. We had to leave Lily at the office and probably would not pick her up until the next morning. As my husband and I were leaving, we watched Lily be carried on a blanket and placed right next to the chair behind the receptionist desk. Then, two of the young sons from the staff sat next to Lily. That feeling was so great. It just felt like they were treating our dog like part of their family. Dr. Malnati even took Lily home with him that night which added to the family feel, LOL!

“Our puppy has healed wonderfully and is doing great. I would also like to add that Dr. Malnati took every text and call from us to answer questions we had regarding different issues that arose with bandages, incisions, etc. Again, that meant a lot to us and let us know the doctor cared about our family member.

“To some, this may sound silly, but we love our animals. I have never written a letter like this before because every vet is going to love your animal. Who wouldn’t? Well, there are some that treat you and your pet like a number. We did not feel that way at all with this office. Thank you again, Dr. Malnati and staff.”
